1. Description of Winery Hotels

Winery Hotels is a directory that curates and showcases winery hotels, vineyard accommodations, and wine tourism stays around the world. We provide information, images, descriptions, and links to help you discover wine country accommodation.

For most properties we link out to third-party booking platforms. For a small number of partner properties you can also send a booking request through this Website, which we pass to the property. In both cases the accommodation is supplied by the property, not by us, and any contract for a stay is between you and that property. We never take payment for a stay. Section 4 explains how each of these works.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Website, you agree to:

• Be bound by these Terms of Service
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4.1 Links to third-party booking platforms

For most properties listed on this Website, clicking a booking link takes you to a third-party booking platform (such as Expedia, Booking.com or Trip.com). Your booking is then made with that platform under its own terms, and we are not responsible for:

• The booking process on third-party platforms
• Pricing, availability, or accuracy of information on third-party sites
• The quality of accommodations or services provided by listed properties
• Transactions between you and third-party booking platforms
• Cancellation policies or refunds from third-party providers

4.2 Booking requests to partner properties

Some properties are partner properties and accept booking requests through this Website. You need an account to send one. The following applies to those requests:

• We are not a party to your stay. Any contract for accommodation is between you and the property. We pass messages between you and it, and nothing more.
• We take no payment. We do not collect, process or hold payment card details for a stay, and nothing is charged through this Website. You pay the property directly, on the terms it gives you.
• Estimated prices are indicative. Any amount shown before the property replies is an estimate calculated from the prices that property has given us. It is not an offer and does not bind either you or the property. The only binding figure is the total the property itself confirms.
• A quote can lapse. If the property confirms a total higher than the estimate you were shown, we ask you to accept it. Until you do, you have no booking, and the quote expires if you do not respond within 48 hours.
• An unanswered request expires. If the property does not reply within the stated window, the request lapses and no booking exists. We cannot compel a property to answer.
• We share your details with the property. To pass on a request we send the property your name, email address, any phone number and message you provide, and your dates. It uses those to reply to you and becomes an independent controller of that data. This is the purpose of the request and cannot be separated from it.
• Cancelling. You can cancel a request or a confirmed stay from your account on this Website, and we will tell the property. Cancelling here does not override any cancellation, deposit or no-show terms you agreed directly with the property, which are a matter between you and it.

We do not verify a property's licences, insurance, safety or legal compliance, and we do not inspect the accommodation. Complaints about a stay should be raised with the property; we will help you reach it, but we cannot resolve a dispute over a stay we were not part of.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

Our affiliate partnerships include, but are not limited to:

We also earn commission from partner properties. Where a property accepts booking requests through this Website (section 4.2), it pays us an agreed percentage of the accommodation total for stays that go ahead. That commission is paid by the property, not by you: it is not added to your bill, and the total you are quoted is the total the property charges you.

These commercial relationships do not influence our editorial content or the properties we choose to feature. Partner properties are marked as accepting direct booking requests, so you can always see which listings we have a commercial arrangement with. 6. User Accounts and Bookmarks

When you create an account on Winery Hotels, you can:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
