Located in Chacras de Coria, just 15 minutes from downtown Mendoza and 25 minutes from the international airport, this cozy wine country retreat blends the spirit of a rustic country home with modern comforts and warm hospitality.

At Lares, the priority is simple: making guests feel right at home. From the Andean stone walls to desert wood finishes, the architecture harmonizes with its natural surroundings, creating a serene and authentic ambiance in the heart of Mendoza’s gastronomic and wine region.

A Stay in the Land of Wine

From the moment you arrive, wine sets the tone. A glass window in the reception floor reveals the underground wine cellar, hinting at the passion for wine culture embedded in every corner of the property. Comfortable lounge areas with mountain wood furnishings and a cozy fireplace invite guests to unwind, read, or plan their next vineyard adventure.

The outdoor pool (5 x 9 meters) and Jacuzzi offer relaxation after a day of wine tasting or hiking, with adjustable temperature settings. Guests can also book massages or beauty treatments (optional services).

Lares de Chacras complements the local dining scene with a light food menu, including empanadas paired with local wine, tomatoes drizzled with their house-made olive oil (“Vita Mediterránea”), and weekend specials. A small boutique store sells selected wines, gourmet products, olive oils, and handmade jams, perfect for taking a bit of Mendoza home.

The soul of Lares de Chacras lies in its passion for wine. The wine cellar, visible through the floor of the main house, is a unique space where guests can sip top Mendoza wines in an intimate, rustic setting. It’s a place to celebrate the joy of wine, whether through tastings, casual pairings, or quiet contemplation.

Guests can also visit Lares’ private vineyard, located 55 km north, where Torrontés and Syrah grapes grow alongside olive and plum trees. The lodge’s olive oil, “Vita Mediterránea,” is produced from olives grown on this land.
