Perched on a proud hill overlooking Lake Kaltern, our winery is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place to experience. For centuries, monks from the Bavarian Tegernsee Monastery cultivated wine here, producing vintages for both themselves and their esteemed guests. In 2011, we brought our vision to life, building a home and wine cellar that honors tradition while embracing sustainability.

Designed with functionality and energy efficiency in mind, our cellar follows the natural flow of gravity, minimizing energy waste. As an organic and biodynamic winery, we believe each grape tells the story of its life in the vineyard—absorbing the soil’s essence, the whispers of the wind, and the rhythm of the seasons. And when we craft our wine, we capture these elements as a gift to you.
