Weingut Schmid Oberrautner Apartment Suites is a historic family wine estate in the Gries district of Bolzano, offering three elegant holiday apartments set among vines and a large garden yet just a short walk from the old town. The winery has been in the same family since 1363, and the apartments—Antonia, Ullin and Katharina—are newly restored, combining old South Tyrolean architecture with warm, contemporary interiors, mezzanine sleeping areas and fully equipped kitchens. Guests can add a breakfast basket with farm products and enjoy the shared garden with herbs, berries and vegetables. Staying here means “living in the winery”: a welcome basket with estate wine, included cellar tour and tasting, and the chance to help with the grape harvest or join guided walks through the vineyards.
