Black Barn Vineyards 共有十四座奢华 Retreat，其中只有两座位于酒庄自己的葡萄园内。葡萄园坐落在霍克斯湾（Hawke's Bay）哈夫洛克北（Havelock North）上方的山丘上，紧邻蒂马塔峰（Te Mata Peak）。其余十二座分布在整个产区，有的身处葡萄园之间，有的俯瞰图基图基河谷（Tuki Tuki Valley），还有的就在海滩边。 Black Barn 把这些住所称为 Retreat。实际上，每一座都是整栋出租的私人别墅，而不是酒店客房，既适合想在葡萄园里享受清静的情侣，也适合家庭或朋友结伴出行。 淡季每晚价格在 475 至 3,500 新西兰元之间，价差之大说明各座别墅在面积和环境上差别明显。预订时要选定具体的 Retreat：醒来时看到的是葡萄藤还是大海，完全取决于你订的是哪一座。 这里的品酒是私人化的体验。Black Barn 可安排由酿酒师亲自主持的特别私人品酒，地点可以在酒庄的 Cellar Door，也可以在你入住的 Retreat 里。酒庄目前不提供葡萄园导览，行程最好围绕品酒来安排。 酒庄内的 Black Barn Bistro 不供应早餐。不过每座 Retreat 都备有早餐食材，供客人自行准备，这也符合整栋别墅自给自足的入住节奏。 霍克斯湾是新西兰面积第二大、历史最悠久的葡萄酒产区之一，以 Syrah、波尔多风格红葡萄酒和 Chardonnay 闻名。纳皮尔（Napier）的装饰艺术风格市中心在北边不远处，东南方海岸则是基德纳珀斯角（Cape Kidnappers）的塘鹅栖息地。如果想找一家能当作整个产区探索据点的霍克斯湾酒庄酒店，这种分散式的布局恰恰是它的优势。
