Located 20 km north of Montevideo in the Canelón Chico region, Pizzorno Lodge & Wine is a fourth-generation family-owned estate that blends more than a century of winemaking heritage with contemporary comfort. The lodge sits among vineyards and native landscapes, offering a peaceful countryside retreat close to the capital. The property features four uniquely designed rooms named after members of the Pizzorno family, each with private bathrooms, air conditioning, minibars, and furnished decks overlooking the vineyards. Guests enjoy complimentary breakfast, coffee, tea, mineral water, and seasonal fruits, along with access to outdoor relaxation areas, gardens, and an organic orchard. The estate spans 21 hectares of sustainably managed vineyards producing a diverse range of grapes, including Uruguay’s signature Tannat, along with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and others. Visitors can take part in classic tastings or premium sessions featuring multiple vintages paired with local cuisine. The on-site restaurant serves seasonal dishes inspired by regional flavors, available as à la carte meals, multi-course lunches with pairings, or exclusive tapas dinners for lodge guests.
